Bangladesh Rice Research Institute, Habiganj Regional Office, Japanese international development organization Share the Planet Association and local NGO ASED HABIGONJ signed a memorandum of understanding to expand cultivation of high-yielding varieties of rice developed by BRRI in Haor region. It was signed in 11th January 2022. The MoU was signed by the head of BRRI regional office D. Mohammad Mozammel Haque, Executive Director of Share the Planet Association Tetsuo Tsutsui, and Chief Executive of and ASED HABIGONJ Jafar Iqbal Chowdhury.
